Batang Ai Longhouse Resort lies on the shores of a spectacular freshwater lake and surrounded by mountains and rainforests. Based on the traditional timber longhouse concept of the region's native Iban tribe, the resort will encompass 100 twin bedded guest rooms, including 12 duplex family suites, all tastefully designed along local themes. Each room features individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans, hand basin and shower with hot and cold running water. A "Ruai" traditional longhouse verandah provides unobstructed views of the lake and its surrounding forest. Other amenities include a restaurant featuring regular cultural performances, a bar, and lounge.
