This morning, enjoy a city tour of Kuala Lumpur. Colonial style buildings and modern high-rise structures exist side by side. Once the tallest buildings in the world, the Petronas Twin Towers at KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Center) can be found in Kuala Lumpur. The city offers a wealth of sights, representing the crossroads of three cultures co-existing in peace and harmony. Drive past the elegant Jamek Mosque, bustling Chinatown, and make a photo stop at the Royal Palace. Other stops will include the beautiful Lake Gardens, a jewellery design centre and the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre. Return to the hotel and afternoon is at leisure.
This evening, you may choose one of two exciting options:
The Fireflies Phenomena: Free from the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur is the countryside of Kuala Selangor, a small, rustic town known for its historic past and natural heritage. Walk the jungle trails, learn about the Mangrove trees, and perhaps spot some of the migratory birds protected here in the bird sanctuary. Dine in a local restaurant before boating upstream to watch the thousands of fireflies sparkle in the thick mangroves along both sides of the riverbank - a wonderful phenomena resembling rows of brightly lit Christmas trees. (Note: sighting of fireflies is subject to weather conditions.)
A Heavenly Dining Experience: Start the evening with a stroll in the Central Market, centre of Malaysian handicrafts and arts before proceeding to Kuala Lumpur Tower, which at 421 metres is the tallest in Southeast Asia. Here, you will take a high-speed lift to the Seri Angkasa Revolving Restaurant for a sumptuous buffet dinner while admiring the breathtaking panoramic night view of the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Take a full day tour out of Kuala Lumpur today to visit Malaysia's most historical city. Malacca has seen the rise and fall of major empires that extended their influence to this region. The legacy of the Malay Sultanate, Portuguese, Dutch and British is evident in Malacca's medieval charm, picturesque buildings, multi-racial population and narrow streets. This tour includes a visit to historic sites such as St. Paul's Hill where St. Francis Xavier was interned, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple - the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia and Porta De Santiago, the Portuguese fortress. A local Nonya lunch is included, and you will have a chance to take a stroll on 'Antique Row' also known as Jonker Walk. Return to the hotel by early evening.
