Arriving in Singapore today, you will be met at the airport (or cruise centre), and transferred to your chosen hotel. Balance of the day is at your leisure. This evening, you may choose one of three exciting options:
Night Out in Chinatown: Discover the rich historical beginnings of Chinatown at the Chinatown Heritage Centre. The Centre takes you back to a different time in the history of the area and immerses you in the life of the early Chinese immigrants. Today's Chinatown comes alive with the hustle and bustle of the Night Market. After dinner, you'll have an opportunity to wander along the narrow lanes and test your bargaining skills with the street vendors. Then, hop onto a trishaw for a ride through Chinatown to Clarke Quay. There you'll board a bumboat for a cruise along the Singapore River. Disembark at the Esplanade where your wonderful evening comes to an end.
Singapore by Night: Enjoy dining by the River, Singapore's latest sunset haunt. Enroute to the world's largest fountain, take in the beautiful sight of the central business district via Benjamin Sheares Bridge. Continuing on to Bugis Street, your guide will take you for a stroll at the night market or 'pasar malam' where you may chance upon unimaginable bargains. The last stop for the evening is at Raffles Hotel for a taste of Singapore's very own concoction, the 'Singapore Sling'. As the saying goes, "If you have not been to Raffles, you have not been to Singapore".
Night Safari: The world's first Night Safari, set in 40 hectares of secondary jungle will unfold the mystery and drama of the tropical jungle after dusk with stunning effect. See a myriad of nocturnal animals, from fierce predators to timid forest dwellers, in their natural habitat under subtle moon-glow lighting. Roam the jungle in the safety and comfort of your tram which takes you through the East and West Loop passing by a large reservoir and weaving through selected habitats designed specifically to replicate the natural environment from the Himalayan Foothills to the Southeast Asian Rainforest and Indian Subcontinent. On completion of the tram ride, your tour guide will lead you on a walking trail where you will be able to view some animals at closer quarters. The tour includes dinner at the Safari Restaurant, a sumptuous international buffet with a good mix of Western and Asian dishes.

Your 'Round the Island' sightseeing today begins with a visit to Haw Par Villa, a theme park of Chinese mythology with exhibits of legendary figures. Continue your journey north to the Kranji War Memorial. Unveiled in 1957, the memorial commemorates over 20,000 men and women of the forces who lost their lives in World War II. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before your next stop at Bright Hill Temple, a famous Chinese ancestral worship place. A drive past the Johore Battery gives you an opportunity to view a replica of the 15-inch "Monster Gun", the largest to be installed outside Britain during World War II. The final stop at Changi Chapel & Museum. The museum focuses on the memories and lives of both POWs and civilian internees who survived the Japanese occupation, while the Changi Chapel is a symbolic replica of the one at Changi Prison. Return to the hotel and evening at leisure.
