This morning your guide will introduce you to the masterpieces of ancient art in the Egyptian Museum, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. Drive to Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue and Saint Serguis Church. After lunch, drive to the Islamic quarter to stroll the Great Citadel begun by Saladin and visit the Mohammed Ali Mosque, also known as the "Alabaster Mosque". Enjoy a walking tour of the colourful Khan El Khalilii Bazaar district.

After breakfast, a scenic drive will take you to the Pyramids & Sphinx of Giza, which have stood for the last 5000 years. Complete your visit at Giza with a tour of the Solar Boat Museum. After lunch continue on to ancient Memphis, the first capital of united Upper and Lower Egypt and Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. This evening drive to the Pyramids area for a Sound & Light Show presentation.

This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your luxury cruise ship for a 4-night, 5-day cruise. This afternoon, set sail by felucca to view Kitchener Island and sail past the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Optional Abu-Simbel Excursion
Optionally, you may wish to take a flight over to the Temples of Abu Simbel prior to boarding your cruise in Aswan. Visit the Great Temples of Ramses II; stand before the colossal statue of the Pharoah with smaller statues of his wife Nefertari and daughters at his feet.
