What to expect: 

A busy itinerary, with good accommodation. The sightseeing itinerary is comprehensive, and although not planned to be particularly strenuous, a reasonable degree of mobility is needed. Visiting sites may involve climbing many stairs, walking some distances and climbing in and out of boats, which may be awkward at times.

Transport: Longer distances are covered by air or bus; a number of day excursions are by boat. 

Accommodation:  Overall the accommodation is of a good standard, although in the smaller towns, it may be more moderate.

Meals: Meals include daily breakfast, 11 lunches and 9 dinners. There will be the opportunity to choose and pay for your other meals locally. There are many, many dining options in all price categories, but eating in local restaurants can be very inexpensive and a wonderful experience. There are also restaurants in the hotels if you don't wish to venture out.
